The Eureka Baptist Church staff seeks to maintain the highest

and spiritual guidance.

Interim Pastor Larry Allan McCarty ( Fayetteville NC

Pastor Larry was born in in Falls View, WV and was born again during a Youth Revival at Boomer, WV. In 1976 he answered God's Call into full time ministry while out to sea. He was ordained into the Gospel of Ministry at Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN in 1981. Pastor Larry is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

With more than thirty years of serving the Lord he has been a Pastor at Kelford Baptist Church in Bertie County NC, Baynes Baptist Church in Burlington, NC, Moultrie Baptist Church in Saint Augustine FL, and First Baptist Church in Spring Lake, NC.

Larry has also served as a United States Army Reserve Chaplain and was on the Pastoral Team at the Main Post Chapel and 82 Airborne Memorial Chapel at Fort Bragg, NC. After his retirement from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2014 Larry served as an Interim Pastor at several locations in North Carolina and has currently accepted the position of Interim Pastor at Eureka Baptist Church.

  Ms. Jordan (Karla) became our choir director in 1995. She has had instruction in music theory, flute, and piano. Growing up in Germany, she sang in the high school choir and in the Madrigal Singers at Berlin Teacher's College. She was a kindergarten teacher at Montclair Elementary School and has a BA from Methodist College, an MA from FSU, and is National Board Certified as an Early Childhood Generalist. She has one grown son and two grandchildren.

  Ms. Keefe (Barbara) is our pianist. She has played piano most of her life and served in churches as pianist and assistant pianist. She has also played with the hand bells with The Regal Ringers of Cedar Falls Baptist Church, and she has played for the New South River Baptist Association Senior Adults. Barbara has a desire in her heart that God will be glorified as He uses her talent and gift of music. 
EBC also has many faithful volunteers who fill positions of service in the church. These persons serve with great selfless dedication in the work that they do.
